Bankim Chandra Nigam’s journey is a powerful story of transformation, resilience, and lifelong learning. Once an average student, he rose to become a university topper, completed his postgraduation in Zoology, and successfully cleared the prestigious UPSC Indian Forest Service examination. After retiring as PCCF in 2016, he continued to serve society in various impactful roles — as a member of the Board of Governors at ILRT, advisor to several start-ups, and a member of the Environmental Expert Appraisal Committee under the Government of India. Driven by a deep passion for mental wellness and personal growth, he pursued postgraduation in Psychology and completed the globally renowned Science of Well-Being certification from Yale University. He has also undergone advanced training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Bankim Chandra Nigam’s life reflects a continued dedication to service, self-discovery, and empowering others toward well-being.
